The text of the amendment is as follows: At the end of the bill (before the short title), insert the following: Sec. __. None of the funds made available by this Act may be used by the Secretary of the Interior to treat any gray wolf in any of the 48 contiguous States or the District of Columbia as an endangered species or threatened species under the Endangered Species Act of 1973 (16 U.S.C. 1531 et seq.) after June 13, 2017. The Acting CHAIR. Pursuant to House Resolution 820, the gentleman from Washington (Mr. Newhouse) and a Member opposed each will control 5 minutes. The Chair recognizes the gentleman from Washington.
