Weakness invites aggression, and I know the proponent of this amendment has said this many, many times, but apparently she doesn't recognize weakness when she sees it. That is what cutting off Ukraine does. If you want to stop the war, back the 53-nation coalition that is supporting Ukraine and make it clear to Putin he is not going to win. That forces him to the peace table. Showing weakness, backing off, undermining the coalition only extends the war. Please defeat this amendment.”
