I take this vote to try once more to get the attention of the Israeli government.

Our country faces threats and DoD has modernization needs, but I will not support making massive cuts to critically important domestic programs and slashing taxes to meet those needs.

The problem with this year's defense authorization bill is that it comes with the inclusion of $1.15 trillion in discretionary spending.

I don't agree with everything that he's doing, but he's having legitimate, thoughtful conversations instead of screaming matches over who can threaten the loudest.
