“Mr. President, today the Senate has taken a lengthy stride toward improving the health of America's children and addressing two of the greatest threats to their wellbeing and security: hunger and obesity. By passing the bipartisan Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act to reauthorize Federal child nutrition programs, we will be making a historic investment in our children's future and in the Nation's future.
