Is the leader aware this is the first I heard that anybody wanted to? Not a single member of the Senate Judiciary Committee on the Republican side even raised to me that they wanted to move forward with them. Is the distinguished majority leader aware that when the Republicans were in the majority, when they had judges they wanted moved they usually waited to put them on until after the request had come from our side to put them on? Was the leader aware of that? Was the leader aware of the fact that nobody--nobody--has raised this? In fact, the first I heard about it was an hour ago.
