We have the death penalty in Tennessee, and we ought to let it proceed along the guidelines we have in place to dispense the punishment that, as a state, we’ve decided we should dispense in those circumstances where it’s justified.

It includes commonsense solutions for building more homes, lowering costs, and giving more Americans dignity and stability.

I think we have to be sure this program is producing the results that have been promised. And I believe that Tennesseans deserve full transparency.
