I have been in this body for 24 years. I have heard a lot of stories, but the story today that if you do away with the peanut program you are going to save the American consumer some money is just about as big a pile of bunk as I have ever heard. ... What are you all smoking, telling your colleagues in this House that these savings are going to be passed on to the housewife? It is not going to happen.
