What we are concerned with is 'the death by a thousand cuts' whereby it can easily be stated that allowing large numbers of veterans into the private sector while not fixing long-term recruitment, hiring, and retainment for necessary staff... is a very slow and painful way to bleed the VA health care system dry of funds.
