I think we all here share an objective to deal with the crisis of veteran suicide.

The VA is not meeting all the needs, otherwise the suicide rate would not be 20 a day and staying there.

When suicide occurs in a hospital, a place where the most vulnerable go for help, that loss feels particularly acute.

As long as I am in the Congress I will never vote to see the VA do a major project again.
