David Roe: “My own insurance for my family went up with the Affordable Care Act 75 percent.”

The members here have heard me say this many times, in the Guard in Tennessee we have a program called Guard Your Buddy, which has been shown to reduce suicide by almost 70 percent.

I want to congratulate this entire committee. Every one of you finished in exactly 5 minutes, so congratulations.

With all the metrics and good intentions and all of that, the suicide rates have not changed, so we need to do something different.

My Democrat colleagues want to talk about protecting workers' rights while they simultaneously push radical legislation that will undermine the rights of workers.
