As long as I am in the Congress I will never vote to see the VA do a major project again.
Implementation and enforcement can be a good thing where government is working with businesses to help them get to a desired result or it can be a dagger in the heart.
It is embarrassing to me to go home and to look those folks in the eye who work as hard as they do and write the checks they do to see this big of a disaster, financial disaster.
But I am mindful of something Rahm Emanuel said when he was chief of staff to President Obama in 2009. He said you never let a serious crisis go to waste. I am afraid some of us are doing that here.
