I, Calvin Coolidge, President of the United States of America, by virtue of the legislation aforesaid, do hereby invite the States of the Union and all foreign countries to cooperate and participate in the Exhibition mentioned by appointing representatives and sending thereto such exhibits as will most fitly and fully illustrate their resources, their industries and their progress in civilization.
