what did not -- what was more important than filling my heart with glee was the sense of mystification that the vice president who had a target on his back, who the president of the United States sent a mob to assassinate still has not made a statement with regard to what happened on January 6th and the involvement of Donald Trump and what that meant and the possibility of what could have happened to our democracy on that day.
