I thank the gentlewoman for those words and thoughts on these issues. Mr. Speaker, I yield to the gentlewoman from Texas (Ms. Jackson Lee), who has been a stalwart for social justice, a stalwart on the Judiciary Committee, and is going to speak on the issue that is here before us this evening, the CBC Special Order hour, ``A Response to President Trump's Inaugural Address and New Deal for African Americans.''
