I think the right answer here is voter ID laws passed at the state level.
While we welcome the State Department's expression of concern about the escalating situation in el-Obeid, words are not enough.
We do have an ID requirement in Virginia. We also have audits of elections, and we've never found there to be a noncitizen voting problem.
Everyone deserves the same opportunity to pursue higher education if they choose.
