Today, I rise to recognize an industry that has a large and very delicious impact on my home district in the Fifth District of New Jersey. I, of course, am talking about New Jersey's confectionary manufacturers. I am proud to see New Jersey products in stores, not only throughout the State and the country, but around the world. The Fifth District's own Promotion in Motion and M&M Mars have contributed to countless fond memories of enjoying candy at sports games, movie theaters, and birthday parties; but the confectionary industry provides even more than just tasty treats. In New Jersey and throughout the country, this industry is an economic driver comprised of family-owned businesses employing tens of thousands of employees across the State and across the country. No doubt, New Jersey is a sweeter place thanks to the candy manufacturers that call our State of New Jersey home. ____________________
