I just believe, in light of some of the concerns raised... that there would be this approach, in terms of holding harmless a valid whistleblower's complaint against any type of reprisal from the agency itself is terribly important.

This is just another example of the DNI trying to cook the books, rewrite history, and erode trust in the intelligence agencies she’s supposed to be leading.
When we start purging agents for doing their jobs, instead of toeing a partisan line, we weaken our defense against everything from violent crime to foreign threats, and that makes us all less safe.
