Now, Mr. President, in order to bring to conclusion today's session, I ask unanimous consent that when the Senate completes its business today, it stand in adjournment until 1 p.m. on Monday, November 7. I further ask consent that following the prayer and pledge, the morning hour be deemed expired, the Journal of proceedings be approved to date, the time for the two leaders be reserved, and the Senate proceed to a period of morning business until 2 p.m., with the time equally divided between the majority and minority. I further ask consent that at 2 p.m. the Senate resume consideration of S. 1042, the Defense authorization bill, as under the previous order. The PRESIDING OFFICER.
