We will continue fighting for mothers today, tomorrow, and every day for their right to safe, dignified care, bodily autonomy, compassionate treatment, and healthy equity in America.

They should be paying the taxes as opposed to having tax loopholes.

This bill is not a serious attempt to address crime; it is a regressive, discriminatory, and counterproductive piece of legislation that will only worsen the challenges facing our communities.

As we honor our mothers, we must also recognize that too many are being failed by a system that should protect them.
