Ensuring those resources are in place is so important as these young people transition out of foster care.
Last year, I was diagnosed with progressive supranuclear palsy, or PSP. I describe it as 'Parkinson's on steroids,' and I don't recommend it.
The least we can do to not just help our foster youth but also help prevent homelessness is to catch our young adults when they need us the most and house them.
