The Republican House is about to go out for 5 weeks, but first, they are going to sue the President and hope that we don't pay attention to the unfinished business of this country. I only have 1 minute, so I am going to have to read it fast. Let me list for you some of the bills they are not going to address: comprehensive immigration reform, propping up the highway trust fund, funding the Federal Government, reauthorizing the Ex-Im Bank, providing additional resources to fight wildfires in the West, bipartisan Federal IT procurement reform, raising the minimum wage, extending emergency unemployment insurance, reauthorizing terrorism risk insurance, comprehensive tax reform, modernizing the Voting Rights Amendment Act, and ensuring equal pay and nondiscrimination of the workplace. I have run out of time, but our constituents have run out of patience with this majority. ____________________
