The best and noblest form of government is that which is founded on the will of the people.
Arbitrary power is most easily established on the ruins of liberty abused to licentiousness.
A strong nation is built on the foundation of unity and common purpose.
To such men I shall cheerfully yield the palm of genius and talents to serve our common country.
