Today’s jobs report is deeply alarming and offers some of the clearest evidence yet that President Trump’s policies are doing serious damage to the American economy,

I think Republicans expect that in nine weeks they're going to lose the majority of the House, maybe the Senate, and that this project could be endangered by a new Democratic majority that actually stands up to Trump,

“This project is not even close to being ready for prime time. The Administration has not won the legal battle over the proposal, which is plainly illegal without congressional authorization,” Beyer said in a statement.

He has no one in the Republican Party willing to stand up to him on many, many different things. He only might have that trifecta for another couple of weeks.
