Mr. Chair, all I need is just a few seconds to point out to my friend from California that many of the things that he objects to are irrelevant and not germane to this amendment. We are not asking for background checks. We are certainly not setting up a structure where lawyers can sue. We are simply asking for a policy or notice to be in place, as many other policies and notices are in place at gun shooting ranges around the country, that recognize that Federal law prohibits certain people, some dangerous people from possessing or using firearms in the United States, and especially the public shooting range that is being funded by the Federal Government under Pittman- Robertson. Mr. Chair, I yield back the balance of my time.
