as the Senator from Georgia just indicated, those of us who are cosponsoring the amendment are entirely prepared to accept the language proposed by the distinguished Senator from Nevada. Indeed, the language is entirely consistent with the intent of the sponsors of this particular amendment. At the conclusion of the consideration of this amendment, I am going to propose a motion to change one word in the amendment, and then I hope we will be able to take up the matter on final passage. But the language that the Senator from Nevada has suggested is not only consistent but entirely appropriate. I fully support it. I believe the distinguished Senator from Minnesota shares that same opinion.
