One is you could serve more children if you allow people to discriminate. That is not true. You will serve more people if you put more money into the Head Start program. There are plenty of sponsors who are willing to provide services without discriminating. Second, you lose your right to discriminate. You do not lose your right to discriminate with your church money if you sponsor a federally funded program, but you cannot discriminate with the taxpayers' money.
