this chart shows that the top one percent get half the tax cut that we enacted in 2001. The people in the lower brackets who are more likely to spend the money and stimulate the economy, you can hardly see the lines that they get. The top 20 percent get the lion's share of the tax cut and virtually nothing on down. All of the studies show if you give money to those who are most likely to spend it, you will stimulate the economy.
