“As I understand, the money will be spent for research in the Chesapeake Bay. This is a national priority. And I would hope that the testing and monitoring of the Potomac and Occoquan Rivers, both of which are part of the Chesapeake Bay Watershed will continue. I mean, it is a national priority. We spend substantial resources on the Chesapeake Bay, and this research will go a long way in helping to preserve the Chesapeake Bay.”
