This is a fairly simple amendment that I offer with my Virginia colleague, Randy Forbes. It simply encourages the use of modeling and simulation technology in designing and analyzing federally funded transportation projects so that those projects can be most efficient and save money in the process. I reserve the balance of my time.

When they talk about returning it to the states and making America great again, they’re talking about returning to how it was before 1954.
It’s difficult to articulate how impractical these proposals are, to say nothing of the pain and suffering they’ll inflict on students, educators and their communities, if they were to become law.
The repeal represents the federal government walking away from that responsibility, which jeopardizes the hard-fought progress we have made.
The administration had been illegally creating these interagency agreements, which are extremely inefficient and wasteful, and also result in inconsistent enforcement of federal education policy.
