Mr. Speaker, I move to suspend the rules and pass the bill (H.R. 2830) to make technical amendments to update statutory references to certain provisions classified to title 2, United States Code. The text of the bill is as follows: H.R. 2830 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. TITLE 2, UNITED STATES CODE. (1) Section 701(c) of the Ethics in Government Act of 1978 (2 U.S.C. 288(c)) is amended by striking ``(2 U.S.C. 72a(i))'' and inserting ``(2 U.S.C. 4301(i))''. (2) Section 716 of the Ethics in Government Act of 1978 (2 U.S.C. 288m) is amended by striking ``Act of October 1, 1888 (28 Stat. 546; 2 U.S.C. 68)'' and inserting ``Act of October 2, 1888 (25 Stat. 546; 2 U.S.C. 6503)''. (3) Section 201(g) of the Congressional Budget Act of 1974 (2 U.S.C. 601(g)) is amended by striking ``Act of October 1, 1888 (28 Stat. 546; 2 U.S.C. 68)'' and inserting ``Act of October 2, 1888 (25 Stat. 546; 2 U.S.C. 6503)''. (4) Section 104(a) of the Congressional Operations Appropriations Act, 1997 (2 U.S.C. 605(a)) is amended by striking ``(2 U.S.C. 111b)'' and inserting ``(2 U.S.C. 4103)''.
