Mr. Speaker, I yield myself the balance of my time. Mr. Speaker, this is a good bill. I want to thank everybody on both sides of the aisle who have worked together to bring us to the point where we can pass this bill through the House. I hope it is taken up and passed in the Senate. I hope it is signed into law soon. It will do some good in stopping people who have ill intent from being able to abuse our immigration system and enter our country. But this bill is just one of many, many things with regard to our immigration system that need to be examined. Other legislation that has already passed out of the Homeland Security Committee and the Judiciary Committee needs to be brought to the floor of the House for consideration. We also need to examine our visa programs and the interview process, which may be called into question following the tragedy in San Bernardino. We also need to make sure that our borders--particularly our southern border, but all of our borders--are secure. People are crossing into our country undetected, and they are not just from South American and Central American countries. They are from all over the world, including from the country that we have been talking about here today. We need to make sure that our asylum program is not as rampant with fraud as it is today. We need to pass legislation introduced by Congressman Chaffetz of Utah that addresses that problem.…
