My other bill, 5891, the Veteran Appeals Decision Clarity Act, would build on Chairman Bost's and House Republicans' work to modernize the VA appeals process.
For them, it's a kitchen table issue. But the impact. The idea that we would have a president, and a governor who is standing by and said president says we're going to push them out of the workforce.
So I would say that coordination needs to happen at a much stronger level, not just at the Federal level, but also down into the state and the local level, and back up to the Federal level, so that we all are working to take whatever that number of unserved and underserved is and drive it down to zero.
This injustice must be rectified. The Michael Lecik Military Firefighters Protection Act would finally provide veteran firefighters with the compensation, healthcare, and retirement benefits that they have earned through their service.
