I will just say that, in closing, impact aid is the only source of revenue that the school districts have in order to make up for this loss, and unless schools have some opportunity to expand their tax base, we could see over 2,100 schools in this country losing funding, vital funding necessary to be able to stay open and provide benefits and education for these students. I would just urge my colleagues to support this concept. I understand that we are going to withdraw this particular amendment. I would hope that at some point, however, we could place back into the bill the civilian type ``b'' impact aid as the Machtley-Orton amendment would restore.
