I can see no credible justification for a 1.1 million-acre withdrawal from mineral entry of lands to the north and south of the park.'' Another said: ``It is important to note that the research conducted by the United States Geological Survey and the preliminary findings by the University of Arizona confirm uranium exploration and mining pose no threat to the Grand Canyon watershed or the park.'' This is the study. This is the scientific data. It would be nice if, for once, we used this data instead of quoting one another and quoting things that have no basis in science.…”
