I understand this to be the case. As I noted, the record as of today is unclear on a number of these issues. The Department of Justice is still reviewing some of these cases. But the fact that the defendant was eventually acquitted does not excuse the fact that she was reversed on appeal, that we only learned of this case last week, and that there certainly appeared to be probable cause to arrest him.
