Many of us on the committee have already expressed our concerns about the administration's heavy reliance on tariffs.

the Finance Committee has worked with the Treasury Department to ensure proper responsiveness to committee inquiries. We are continuing to review these matters to determine what further oversight is required.

It is disappointing the ranking member feels a need to question a statement that I made during the hearing.
