like I say, I am sympathetic to what the Senator is trying to do. He knows that. But he also knows that we have gone through this and we have come up with this bill after a year of intensive battling, fighting. And it is not just the conservatives that were there; it is the far left. We have worked hard on this, and this is the bill we could come up with. Do we want to do something about terrorism or do we want to kill the bill? That is what it comes down to. Frankly, it is not just any one of these things. It could be any one of these things. We have worked it out. It is a good bill, and it will make a difference. It will start fighting terrorism right now. In the end, it seems to me if we can ever get to a final vote on this, we will have something of which virtually everybody who thinks about it will be proud.
