Orrin Hatch: “These hearings are not some sideshow designed to distract from the President's agenda.”

I am deeply concerned about the theatrics we have seen these last 2 days.

No matter where you come from, no matter how rich you are, no matter your race, your gender, no matter your station in life, no matter your position in government, it is all equal justice under the law.

Confirmation hearings are supposed to be an opportunity for the American people to hear from the nominee.

This is a long-overdue nomination.
