The Finance Committee has worked with the Treasury Department to ensure proper responsiveness to committee inquiries. We are continuing to review these matters to determine what further oversight is required.

Many of us on the committee have already expressed our concerns about the administration's heavy reliance on tariffs.

Understanding what is happening in field and regional offices is critical in the role of executive leader of the agency.
