Orrin Hatch: “I thank the distinguished Senator from California. ____________________”

Those backlogs at the Social Security Administration are unacceptable to many, if not most, of us here in the Senate.

I urge Congress pass the OPEN ACT before the end of this year.

This is a long-overdue nomination.

It has been one of the great honors of my life to serve on this committee.
