“Mr. President, I thank the distinguished chairman of the Judiciary Committee. He has been one of the leaders the whole time I have been on that committee with regard to intellectual property issues. It has always been a pleasure to work with him and his staff. They are good people. This is a particularly important bill. It is only the first step, once we bring it up and hopefully pass it, and then the House will bring up their bill. There are likely to be differences between the two, and we will have to get together in conference to resolve those differences. So those who might have some angst about this particular bill, give it time.
