Orrin Hatch: “I urge the committee to resist calls to bring America closer to a single-payer system.”

The Finance Committee has worked with the Treasury Department to ensure proper responsiveness to committee inquiries. We are continuing to review these matters to determine what further oversight is required.

I urge Congress pass the OPEN ACT before the end of this year.

It is disappointing the ranking member feels a need to question a statement that I made during the hearing.
