Orrin Hatch: “I am pleased by the success of the new tax law, which has already resulted in substantial benefits for American workers…”

It is disappointing the ranking member feels a need to question a statement that I made during the hearing.

The Finance Committee has worked with the Treasury Department to ensure proper responsiveness to committee inquiries. We are continuing to review these matters to determine what further oversight is required.

I urge Congress pass the OPEN ACT before the end of this year.

It has been one of the great honors of my life to serve on this committee.
