in my opening remarks, I was remiss in not mentioning the tremendous work of the distinguished chairman and vice chairman of the Intelligence Committee. They have done a tremendous amount of work on the intelligence aspect of this bill. As a member of the Intelligence Committee, I express my high regard for the both of them and the work they have done. I also express my regard for my friend from Maryland, Senator Sarbanes, who came to the Senate with me, for the work he has done on the money-laundering section of this bill. He and Senator Gramm and the Banking Committee have done yeoman's service on this, and I hope we are able to have that as part of the final bill. I would be remiss if I did not acknowledge the great work that has been done--also, Senator Kyl and so many others. I felt I needed to say that. I thank the Chair.
