That is an appropriate amount, in my judgment. The DARE program will also be eligible, I believe, to receive block grant funding under provisions of the Neighborhood Safety Act. I want to take this opportunity to acknowledge and thank my colleague from Texas for his efforts and leadership on this issue, and for his support for law enforcement as well.
