I take tremendous interest in this bill, as I do every piece of legislation, but this bill in particular. I congratulate the chairman and the ranking member for the way they have conducted not only the committee through this process but this bill itself. I hope this bill will pass and that we can correct whatever needs to be corrected, and that we will be able to do this follow-on biological work together. If we can do that, this will be a major breakthrough bill, and will do a great deal of good for the FDA. If that happens, then I think the chairman and the ranking member deserve a great deal of credit.
