It's simply the kind of over the top rhetoric that has characterized American politics for too long. And I'm glad that Mark Rubio called you out for it. I'm glad you withdrew it. I think you should apologized for it and I think she's recognized that having differences of opinion on issues does not justify labeling people with highly charges epithets.
