I was deeply troubled by the United States’ United Nations vote.

As the Indo-Pacific continues to face threats of instability from adversaries like China, the U.S. must have a proactive posture to best ensure the safety of Americans and our allies in the region.

Count me in the camp that just has been very thoughtful to make sure that what we’re doing doesn’t set a precedent that we’re not happy with.

Please put a dose of compassion in this. These are real people.
