as a strong supporter of the military, I am pleased to support this legislation, which enhances veterans health care. I am especially pleased that this bill also honors George E. Wahlen, Utah's only living Medal of Honor winner. George Wahlen is a dedicated American and Utah is proud to pay tribute to his service by renaming the Salt Lake Veterans Affairs Medical Center in his honor. George Wahlen's twenty-year service to this nation as a soldier was not his only contribution. Even now, he continues to serve as an advocate for both active troops and veterans. I am proud to honor this patriot, just as I am proud of all Americans who serve their country.
