I am glad to voice my continued enthusiastic support of this vital program to plan for and implement security operations in our State as we welcome the world to the 2002 Winter Olympic games in Salt Lake City. I greatly appreciate the commitment of the gentleman from Florida (Chairman Young), the gentleman from Oklahoma (Mr. Istook) and the ranking member, the gentleman from Maryland (Mr. Hoyer), to ensure this effort is funded in a timely fashion.
